Mission

Growing Wealth & Demand

Challanges

  • Growing Population

  • Growing per capita income

  • Growing Meat Consumption

  • Growth must be based on productivity rather than land or livestock expansion

aspratis XGOS is a natural product to

  • Reduce Mortality

  • Improve Feed Conversion Rates

  • Improve Gut Health and Animal Welfare

  • Improve Uniformity of the Animals

Markets

aspratis XGOS Markets

Chicken.png

Market potential for poultry & piglets in Western and Central Europe, USA, India and Japan:

Poultry: 150 Mio metric tons of feed

Piglets:  115 Mio metric tons of feed

XGOS is made from plants and is not in

competition to human nutrition.

Extraordinary effects on poultry could be shown in 7 feeding trials (total >2,750 broilers) and stimbiotic mode-of-action was investigated in an in-vivo trial and ex-vivo model.

Upside potential in treatment for ruminants, aquafeed and pets – need to be confirmed in further trials .

Massive upside potential in human use, e.g. functional GI disorders

Technology

The XGOS Process

Industry.png

Simple and Efficient Production Process:

1. Production of proprietary aspratis Enzyme

  • Enzyme is produced in suitable production host and delivered as aqueous solution

2. Hydrolysis of Tamarind Kernel Powder (TKP)

  • TKP is suspended in water and enzyme is added

  • Enzymatic hydrolysis at 60 °C to produce XGOS

3. Drying of aqueous Product Suspension

  • Next to soluble XGOS, the resulting aqueous suspension contains valuable soluble & insoluble nutrients, like proteins, fats and fibers

  • To obtain a shelf stable product powder, the water has to be removed via a suitable drying process, e.g. spray drying
